Configure Mail with Eudora 5:

Your domain name MUST be active before your Email service will work. If your website comes up in the browser, then your Email service will work as well. You can download Eudora 5 for for free from the internet.

  1. Open your Eudora Email program.
  2. Go to "Tools" and click on "Options"



  3. The "Options" window opens up and "Getting Started" is the default. This is where you configure Eudora.
    Real name: enter your name
    Return address: this is the Email people will reply to
    Mail Server (Incoming):put mail.yourdomain.com
    Login Name: Put your username, it's in your Account Setup letter
    SMTP Server (Outgoing):    put mail.yourdomain.com
    and check mark "Allow authentication". Then click "OK" and you're done.



  4. To check your mail, click on the mail box with an arrow pointed down (pointed in red arrow).



  5. It will then prompt you for your password. Enter it and click OK. Then Eudora will download your mail.
